For everyone who’s claimed we need to have more shop-based classes in education, I say be careful what you wish for.
I understand what is meant by having classes in education which aren’t simply history, math, English, and science. However, the CCSS Machine has taken this simple concept and used it to all but eliminate EVERYTHING except skill based classes.

Sure, all jobs and skills sound and look great, but our freedom is the intended price we’ll be sacrificing. How? Along with all the CCSS Machine workforce based education (which is WHAT CTE is) comes predetermined career tracks, NOT free choice.
