In this episode, the Common Core Diva Lynne Taylor joins me for a practical update on our Citizen Action series. A few weeks back, we covered the issue of AI data centers being erected across the country and doing tremendous harm to the environment and people with absolutely no accountability. Lynne informed us then that her hometown of Mooresville, NC was also the target of an AI datacenter to be built on the land of the late NASCAR driver, Dale Earnhardt. However, when the people mobilized and educated the public, more than 200 people showed up to oppose the datacenter and as a result, the company pushing it withdrew. This is victory that can be won in your community too!
